Nearly 200 kids developed a budget that allowed them to “buy”
one of three piggy banks and decorate it as they see fit.
Kids were given $10 play money and worked closely with their
parents and DFI volunteers to develop their budgets.Children with money left over for savings were given a special prize.
The activity was a hit, with several parents commenting that their children learned a real life skill.
