Each child will get an “Income” envelope with $10 of play money and a budgeting worksheet. The budgeting worksheet will show piggy bank and decorative sticker options to purchase for different prices and quantities. The kids are then tasked with budgeting their money, with the help of parents and DFI staff, in order to buy their favorite piggy bank and stickers. There is also a special prize for those who save a portion of their income.
It will be a fun, free and educational event for all ages.
