DFI Teams Up with Tacoma News Tribune to Educate Students about How an Economy Works
Describing how an economy works in plain and simple terms is no easy feat! Especially to elementary or middle school students.
That’s why DFI has teamed up with the Newspaper in Education (NIE) program of the Tacoma News Tribune to produce “It’s the Economy” – an educational supplement for classrooms.
“It’s the Economy” covers what an economy is and how it works in simple terms. The booklet covers topics such as opportunity cost, supply and demand, the role of Government, and more.
The educational supplement comes packed with learning activities that can be done in the classroom or at home.
