Beware of Text Message Offers of Free Gift Cards

Text message scams offering free gift cards of up to $1,000 from companies like Apple, Walmart, and Best Buy seem to be making the rounds. If you receive a text message like this, beware: it may be a scam.

The Better Business Bureau put out an alert earlier this month about the scams.
