Teach Financial Literacy! Free Curriculum for Washington Classrooms

The Washington Department of Financial Institutions (DFI) is pleased to announce that it will once again being offering the award-winning Money Savvy financial literacy curriculum for free to a limited number of second, third, sixth, seventh, and eighth grade classrooms across the state of Washington for the 2011-2012 school year.

Teachers interested in the free curriculum are encouraged to register their classrooms now as registration is on a first come, first serve basis.


Free Curriculum for 2nd and 3rd Grade Classrooms
The Money Savvy Kids curriculum is available for free to second and/or third grade Washington classrooms. The curriculum includes both teacher materials and student consumables.

Free Curriculum for 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Classrooms
The Money Savvy U financial literacy curriculum is available to sixth, seventh, or eight grade classrooms. The curriculum includes both the teacher materials and the student consumables.

Free Teacher Training
Money Savvy will also provide free teacher training that will be accessible to participating teachers 24/7 during the 2011-2012 school year.
